So for someone to mod a game specifically to simulate acts that have scarred countless real life people, just as a joke, it speaks to the lack of awareness and ignorance that is overwhelmingly present in the "gamerbro" crowd. Sexism, and sexual assault are so pervasive in our real life culture is it so much to ask for that to not be part of video games as well? Video games have always been used as an escape from the real world. You represent a sad, hateful, toxic part of this fanbase, and I'm ashamed to share a country with you. Most likely the only effect this will have it's that we'll see Rivet again since she sells automatically to some portion of the fandom. Eyes, legs, form of the body on general, etc.Īnd since most of the developers for this game doesn't care about the art of attraction to Rivet. They just create this characters with female design stereotypes and (like I said) some people respond heavily to this. Even when most of those people weren't even furries or attracted to similar stuff. Same reason why back in the day many people had a crush on Nala from The Lion King, or Lola Bunny from Space Jam. "pleasing to the eye" and certain brains respond more to that. If you want to dive deeper, Rivet is designed with certain characteristics to make her look a little let's say. Of course there are people who don't like it, others more open minded, and others that are just literal furries. This doesn't mean a thing for the game since the community or this specific people aren't the developers. In any community there are characters that people find attractive for whatever reason.
